General Summary

The Digital Marketing Analyst will work within data and analytics team while partnering with the marketing department, digital marketing strategy management, and regional marketing coordinators to influence decisions that improve drive marketing and business.

They will provide an in-depth analysis of information from multiple data sources and valuable, data-based insights that are easily digestible for different stakeholders across the organization.

This individual needs a strong understanding of web analytics and must know how to communicate their findings and the meaning of analytics to business executives.

The ideal candidate will carry creative, technical and analytics skills and will need to be strong in executing against Envoy's digital strategy and ensuring they deliver best practice user experience to their customers across all marketing channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary job duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to :

Provide expertise, analysis, recommendations, and implementation on how to best utilize CRM, email marketing and marketing automation to deliver solutions that support sales and service / support strategic and operational goals

Monitor, measure, assess and communicate business outcomes related to paid search and paid media activity

Work cross-functionally with the data and analytics and marketing team, using data to tell stories and provide actionable insights for team members

Perform data mining and statistical analysis to produce findings that drive data-driven content and campaigns

Assist in developing testing strategies and guiding A / B tests with business partners and external teams

Qualified candidates should be able to manage search engine optimization and analyze data from search engines

Implement best tools, processes and procedures based on analysis of marketing data and not assumptions

Monitor and analyze trends of searches and report findings to business

Provide a continuing analysis of page clicks, keyword hits, search engine traffic and other data

Translate data into meaningful, strategic and tactical recommendations that are easily digestible for team members and business executives

Stay informed on digital marketing best practices and industry best practices, new trends, software, technology and platform updates

Analyze external email sends, particularly regarding optimal send times and layout / call-to-actions that drive high engagement

Conduct market research to analyze the competitive landscape, determine brand perceptions, identify new market opportunities, and help with the overall analysis

Requirements

Qualifications include :

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field

3+ years of experience in extensive data analysis in a digital marketing position (mortgage or real estate industry experience is a plus)

Or similar combination of education and experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong understanding of various Digital Marketing KPIs; how to create them, measure them, and communicate their importance

Excellent proficiency with SEO and Google Analytics

Strong understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms, site architectures and strategies

Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis

Experience using A / B testing tools

Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes and drive revenue through digital customer engagement

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript is a plus

Should be completely comfortable & possess intermediate level experience using SEO tools such as : SEM RushAhrefsAlexaMoz

Strong understanding of keyword research (prior experience of research and implementing a plus)

Strong Excel skills

Should be comfortable living in pivot tables

Should have experience working with data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau. Spotfire

Possess strong working experience in Google Analytics or other web traffic tools

Should be comfortable with advanced segmentation, creating custom reports, and multi-channel attribution

Previous experience with marketing automation software is a plus, such as :

Pardot

Campaign Monitor

Should have strong statistical skills

Should be comfortable taking data from multiple sources and creating a standardized report for internal stakeholders

Physical Requirements

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds
