Leasing Agent - Student Housing/Multifamily Property

Seeking a Leasing Agent with experience in student housing or multifamily apartments to join our team! Newport Realty Management (NRM) is a real-estate management company managing investments across the U.S.

The Leasing Agent will work on leasing activities for the student housing property.

Responsibilities include:

Work with a team on leasing of student housing apartment units

Undertake leasing and marketing efforts as may be required

Work with prospects and execute leases

Call prospects and process rental applications

Assist with marketing campaigns and generation of new leases

Assist with lease renewals

Assist with resident move-in and move-outs

Prepare reports on leasing activities and prospects

Assist in general leasing and operating activities as required

Qualifications:

Must have previous leasing experience in property management

Experience with student housing property management a plus but not required

Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases

Ability to multitask and prioritize, prepare reports to present to owners

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with property management software, Appfolio a plus, or other accounting, property management software- can train the right candidate.

Compensation:

Minimum 40 hours per week. Base salary – open based on experience, semi-annual bonuses based on performance.
