Optician/Front Desk Position at busy Optometry Practice

We are looking for an extrovert with energetic and outgoing personality to provide excellent service-oriented care to our patients. This is a fun position where they will be interacting with patients, helping them pick out glasses, and making them feel comfortable and confident with their decisions. Good communication and computer skills are a must.

We are an eye doctor's office seeking a full-time position for front desk and for an optician with options for growing and learning other positions. This is a high communication position with lots of face to face time and phone time with patients. No prior experience is necessary; we are willing to train the right person.

The position will also spend time at the front desk greeting patients, answering the phone, managing the schedule. Great people skills are of utmost importance.

Must be:

-able to multitask

-well-spoken in person as well as on the phone

-comfortable with computers and telephones

-willing to educate patients

-willing to learn new concepts and methods for an ever-changing medical environment

Compensation will begin at 12 per hour. Bonuses and pay increases will be based on performance and speed of learning office protocol. Health insurance is available after 90 days of employment IRA after 1 year. Location is in Glenpool, 1 mile from Creek turnpike. Office attire is business casual.
