Easy Bistro & Bar is a 15 year old chef driven restaurant, recently relocated to Chattanooga’s trendy West Village!

I​n May of 2005, Erik and Amanda Niel opened Easy Bistro & Bar in downtown Chattanooga. Since its opening, the restaurant has served as a community staple and gathering place for the Chattanooga community. In October of 2014, Erik and Amanda assumed operations of Main Street Meats, a neighborhood butcher shop that works closely with Chattanooga’s surrounding farmland. In 2017 and 2018 Chef Erik was a semi-finalist nominee for the James Beard Best Chef: Southeast.

As a potential hire, you will have access not only to some of the best local meats and produce, but a team that prioritizes a positive work atmosphere, classic techniques, and general respect for ingredients. This is a rare opportunity to play an integral role in re-opening a well known and established kitchen in a renovated, fresh space.

We are in search of the ideal candidate who displays the following qualities:

Positive attitude that works well with others in a team-oriented environment

General knowledge of cooking including, but not limited to: mise en place, cleanliness, organization, knife skills, F.I.F.O., kitchen communication, product identification and time management

Ability to listen, show preparedness and adaptability, and an eagerness to learn and improve daily

Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality to the fullest extent

We are hiring for a part-time or full-time candidate to work dinner service hours, offering an hourly wage of $12 - $14 per hour based upon experience.
