Cooks Needed

Taco Garage is searching for a few highly motivated individuals who love to make people happy by cooking some delicious food!

Team members must have at least 1 year of experience in the kitchen. We invite hard-workers who will help us to create a great work environment, motivate each other, and have some fun along the way.

Job Responsibilities:

- Pre-shift food prep

- Keeping work station clean, sanitized and following all health department regulations

- Portion and prepare food items, making sure that assigned workstation is organized and fully stocked

- Masterfully cook all recipes, as well as plate, garnish and package all meals as ordered

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

Observe safe operating practices and comply with food handling procedures/policies

Responsible for maintaining a sanitary kitchen work station.

Prove the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement in a variety of environments and situations.

Qualifications:

At least 1+ year of experience working on the line in a restaurant kitchen

Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement in a variety of situations

Ability to work independently and in a team

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Ability to take feedback and maintain strong mind set

Organized, clean, well presented

Keep track of inventory

Food Handlers Certificate

Able to work under pressure.
