OverviewThe Financial Analyst will report directly to the Manager, FP&A to provide revenue forecasting and analysis, drive KPI reporting, and assist with ad hoc analysis and requests; working with PK's key industry verticals.Responsibilities
- This position will work closely with the FP&A Manager, Industry Vertical Leads, the Global Delivery Team, and the Sales Operation Director.
- Reports to FP&A Manager.
- Service-oriented individual who can effectively communicate between finance, sales and delivery teams.
- Self-starter that does not need a lot of managing; motivated to bring ideas to the table.
- Analyze and understand multiple types of projects: deliverable, points based, hourly (T&M), fixed fee.
- Work across US and International geographies on how people cost impacts structure of team to assist account team in decision making.
- Work with delivery team to troubleshoot project issues from a finance and gross margin standpoint.
- Identify ways to help increase project gross margin realization.
- Manage revenue forecasting working closely with sales and billing teams.
- Provide relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of financial data against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results.
- Monitor variances, investigate inconsistencies, identify trends, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Work with FP&A Manager to provide profitability analysis on current and future client projects.
- Assist the FP&A Manager with providing financial reports for the management team and Board of Directors.
- Identify and participate in process improvement and policy development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years working in a financial related position.
- Professional services background a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (including but not limited to vlookup, index match, goal seek, pivot tables and charts).
- Experience with Tableau, Intaact a plus.
- Strong Communication skills, written and verbal. Communicate with staff at varying levels of an organization.
