This Position is for a Test Manager who will be working with the SPRINT teams with Vendor resources representing the department to keep vendor costs on Quality Assurance functions on the project. The position will also back up the lead Test Manager when necessary. Key Activities Review and approve testing conducted by the DDI Teams to ensure they follow approved guidelines and provide adequate test coverage to support the delivered functionality Submit weekly Contractor Activity Report to provide a summary of your weekly activities Expand high level and detailed documentation on the test coverage provided by the automated regression testing suite Actively participate in the process of determining the test steps required for new automated regression testing coverage Develop a complete understanding of the process guidelines, offer suggestions for improvements, and continuously monitor to ensure they are being followed Update testing section of the weekly Development & Testing SI EMT Status Report Actively monitor newly entered defects and provide analysis of defect trends Participate in weekly project meetings including but not limited to Backlog Health, Risk and Issues, Release meetings, ORA, SOS, etc. Contribute appropriate oversight and follow up as needed on the information being presented. Investigate issues identified by the team leads for discussion and resolution and/or escalate to the Project Business Lead, if needed. Review SI Contractor performance, stress, and load testing plans and test cases to determine if they provide the appropriate level of coverage to support the release stream requirements Ensure the referential integrity and proper process flow of our critical Safe Agile artifacts are properly maintained by the development and distribution of the RTC Discrepancy Report Participate in the process to transform IT into a Dev/Ops model while maintaining appropriate levels of testing throughout the lifecycles Participate in the process to implement a standard automation regression testing framework and tool selection to support the process. The selection must support the eventual conversion of the current EIAS automation framework (based on the Worksoft tool), support the requirements of all strategic DHS systems, and facilitate the path towards DevOps automation.
