SHIPPING CLERK

SHIPPING CLERK: TWO POSITIONS FOR SECOND SHIFT. IMMEDIATE HIRE! Will be performing duties in support of shipping perishable commodities to clients. Must have excellent communication skills in coordinating the activities of shipping, the warehouse operation and the sales team. Must be able to analyze warehouse inventory throughout the shift and identify any short or missing product situations. Determine and identify inbound product timing to access shipping capabilities. Monitor and schedule customer truck appointments based upon orders. Process bill of lading paperwork, verify tickets provided by forklift operators and ensure all instructions are followed and verified. All discrepancies must be resolved prior to final paperwork. Review customer orders and instructions ensuring the warehouse has loading instructions, pallet tags, and verification of temperature requirements. Must be able to communicate in both English and Spanish and be proficient with computers and office environment. 2nd Shift. Medical/dental/vision.
