Engine Manufacture Production Line

Job description

We are a marine engine manufacturing company currently seeking a reliable, hard-working production worker for our expanding operation. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production goals are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be familiar with GM based gasoline engines, 12v electrical systems, possess trouble shooting skills, and basic computer skills

Production Worker Duties and Responsibilities

· Work on the production line installing a pre-made wiring harness with consistent speed and accuracy

· Must be able to make proper and consistent terminal connections on weatherpack, delphi , and deutsch style connectors

· Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Fix any potential issues with Engines

· Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently

· Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality

· Work cooperatively with the production team to meet goals

· Maintain a clean and safe work area

· Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management

· Follow all written and verbal instructions

· Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

· Able to work overtime as needed

Production Worker Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals

· Basic math, reading, and writing skills

· Basic computer skills

· Good communication skills

· Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times

· Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching

· Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

· Able to work 8 hour shifts standing

· Reliable and punctual

· Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
