CNC Machining / Programming

Our company specializes in precision sheet metal fabrication and machining serving the many industries. We are looking for a positive self-motivated individual that can easily adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment.

We have a CNC machining position available now.

Qualifications:

1. At least 5 years of CNC mill programming and setup.

2. Understanding of G code editing and troubleshooting.

3. Strong technical knowledge of current CNC machining cutting tools and calculating feeds and speeds.

4. Ability to interpret engineering drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

5. Previous experience with machining of stainless steels, mild steels and aluminum materials.

6. Experience using Mastercam or modern CAD/CAM software.

7. Strong verbal and written communication skills

8. Competency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Responsibilities:

1. Create and edit CNC programs and setup sheets for processing parts on vertical CNC machining centers.

2. Assist with production schedule to ensure on time delivery.

3. Train and supervise operators.

4. Design project fixture and plan cutting tool sequence to process parts efficiently

5. Support setup and operator machinist to produce quality parts.

6. Ensure all machines are properly maintained.

7. Perform any additional reasonable tasks consistent with your professional abilities that may be requested by the company
