Home Daycare Teacher

We are looking to hire an additional teacher to join a small home daycare program. This home daycare program provides a nurturing and stimulating environment that draws inspiration from the Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Outdoor Education philosophies. Our program is designed for children between the ages of 6 months and 3 years old.

Our philosophy is centered around the belief that children are natural learners and explorers. We strive to create an environment that fosters their innate curiosity and love for learning. We believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences, imaginative play, and exploration of the natural world.

A qualified candidate for this position has the following:

-experience with ages 6 months - 3 years

-experience with either Outdoor Education, Waldorf or Reggio Emillia philosophies (not required but preferred)

-loving, fun and nurturing demeanor and doesn't get flustered easily

-some ECE units and looking to learn and grow in a career for early childhood

-can lift up to 40lbs

-the ability to lead a small group of children in activities and daily task

-the ability to keep a clean and tidy work space

-works well in a home environment and okay with animals

This position is full time and the hours are roughly 8:30-4:30 with paid holidays and vacation. The ideal start time for this position would be September 1st but can onboard part-time in August if needed. Please email your resume and brief cover letter.
