Skilled Landscape construction technician needed.

We are a small family run landscaping company wanting to expand our service. We work on mostly residential installations and have a few maintenance contracts. We are looking for someone that wants to join our team that is interested in building a career in the landscaping/construction/home remodeling industry.

We have work for the fall and are booking out jobs for the winter. We are looking for someone that can start immediately.

This is a full to part time. We plan to add more indoor home construction work as the weather changes.

Some of the tasks that you will be doing are:Construct walkways, patios, walls, fences, decks, pergolas, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, etc. Dig ditches or trenches and perform land clearing activities Plant and maintain garden bedsLoad and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape
construction projects Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, 
lubricating, and cleaning . Operate various tools including: chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement 
equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc. Periodically operate heavy equipment, including skidsteer, excavator, and loader as directed by supervisor. indoor home construction - NO major plumbing or electrical work

Requirements:Good hand-eye coordinationGood communication and teamwork skillsGood customer service skillsCommitment to safety rulesInterest in landscape construction and plantsAbility to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of 40 pounds and up etc.)MUST have transportationMUST have a current drivers licenseMUST be able to tolerate poor weatherMUST be able to read a measuring tape.MUST be able to follow directions if left on job site alone for a few hoursMUST be comfortable asking questions and getting clarification if neededFamiliarity with power tools and machinery is a plusCarpentry and/or stonemason skills a plusPreference given to candidates with one or more years’ experience in the landscape construction industry
