Full Time Medical Assisitant/ Laser Technician Position Available

Fortson Dermatology is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Team! Fortson Dermatology has been proudly serving Alaskans for 30 years, offering medical and cosmetic dermatology services.

A desired candidate should possess the following skills:

Quick learner; medical assistants will need to understand, promote skin care lines and learn surgical and laser procedures and practice pre - and post operative care routines.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Friendly and professional attitude

Job duties would include, among other:

Assisting the Doctor with cosmetic and medical procedures and scribing.

Assist front office staff when needed in terms of checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering multi lined phones and other various tasks assigned by the doctor.
