Collection Specialist

Established local company is hiring a full-time Collection Specialist. The successful candidate is persuasive, easy to talk to, professional, and dependable. The Collection Specialist focuses on placing and receiving calls to recover unpaid accounts for our clients.

Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or sales is preferred but not required. The ability to speak a foreign language is also desirable.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Persuading customers to resolve unpaid accounts

Document all contacts made

Complete skip trace work on accounts as required

Comply with all federal and state collection laws

Complete daily work flow

COMPENSATION:

$2,700 monthly salary to start plus performance bonus for full-time collectors with minimum base requirements. Successful full-time candidates will make $43,000-60,000 by their second year. Comprehensive benefit plan including medical, dental, 401k. Parking/bus pass subsidy ($70) is available for full-time employees. Candidates must pass a pre-employment criminal background check if offered the position.
