Bid Coordinator
Established construction company is seeking a Bid Coordinator to oversee all private and public bids for the company as well as handle post bid paperwork for newly awarded projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Research new bid/estimate opportunities. Provide details on the project out for bid to the management team.
Download bid documents and distribute them to the Estimator assigned.
Follow up and distribute all Addendums.
Provide Pre-qualifications forms when required.
Complete bid forms and assure all necessary attachments are needed.
Request Bid Bonds from Surety Company.
Process paperwork for new vehicles purchased.
Process paperwork for all company owned cell phones.
Post Bid Responsibilities:
Follow up on all required documents the Owner or Construction Manager (CM) will require such as:
Signed Contracts
Insurance
Bonds
Ideal Candidate:
5+ years previous construction Project Coordination or related field
Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Work, Adobe Acrobat and experience with misc. construction programs is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
Procore Project Management system experience
Experience working within the construction industry a plus.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize those tasks and meet deadlines.
