POSITION SUMMARY: The Process Optimization Analyst in the BSC is responsible for identifying and executing process initiatives to improve performance, monitor execution of controls to meet future and current business objectives. This role will lead and attend Nestle in The Market (NIM) business-specific cross-functional projects and support the continuous improvement of the Order to Cash (O2C) end to end process flow. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing the Improvement :

  • Promote good practices and sharing across the BSC
  • Proactively engage in the BSC's operational functions, providing a clear understanding of the results (benefits and competency building) through appropriate communication channels
  • Determination of Root Cause for repetitive or systemic exceptions and coordinates the identification across the BSC to implement action plans
Ensure support & communication of Global End to End Order to Cash process :
  • Supports the BSC in defining common ways of working to maximize efficiency and standardization
  • Supports BSC in order to continuously review, follow up and monitor progress to improve:
    • Customer Service Level
    • Total Service Quality
    • Deliver Competitive Advantage
    • Minimize Exceptions
    • Enable Cost Improvements
    • Excel in Compliance
    • Escalate issues regarding alignment, communication and ways of solving exceptions - drive a clear "path to action
System-related / technical activities :
  • Participates in business-specific and cross-functional project
  • Support system testing to ensure systems and process readiness (e.g. new functionalities, unique business scenarios and processes, etc.)
  • Build and monitor customized/specialized reporting based on business needs
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:This position reports to the Process Optimization Manager in the US 16 BSCSUPERVISION GIVEN:This position does not supervise.FINANCIAL / STRATEGIC IMPACT: This role has a significant and direct impact on business specific KPIs to improve the overall Order to Cash End to End customer service efficiency and eliminate non-value adding activities (e.g. reduction of order touches and changes, etc.). #LI-MS1 REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred
EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 years' experience in Supply Chain preferred (e.g. Order Management, Distribution, Inventory Management, Transportation, Demand and Supply Planning etc.)
SKILLS:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data
  • Well-organized, methodical thinker with excellent decision-making skills
  • Strong and creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in SAP, BW and Business Objects preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • APICS certification (or progress toward certification) beneficial
OTHER PERSONAL QUALITIES:
  • Core knowledge of the 10 Principles and expert knowledge in our areas of responsibility (mandatory - do not remove or change)
  • Solid understanding of the O2C existing process and developing functionalities
  • Knowledge of the Nestle business model, organization/culture, Nestle Leadership Framework and Nestle Corporate Business Principles
  • Developed knowledge of NCE principles and Initiatives (Foundations, Lean and TPM)
  • Developed coaching and training methods and techniques
  • Knowledge on analytics tools and functionalities
