Network Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Network Technician to assist with crimping and network termination, as well as setting up and testing a 19" network rack. This is a part-time position for a specific project, with the potential for ongoing work on future construction projects based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform network cable crimping and termination.

Set up and test a 19" network rack.

Ensure all network connections are secure and functioning correctly.

Troubleshoot and resolve any network issues during setup.

Collaborate with our team to ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements:

Prior experience in networking, including crimping and network termination.

Familiarity with setting up and testing 19" network racks.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

No technical certification required.

Experience with construction projects and on-site network setup is a plus.

Compensation:

Hourly rate of $25/hour.
