Automation Engineer

Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in search for an Automation Engineer located in the Indianapolis area. This successful resource will work to develop test strategies based on risk assessments in order to ensure software products meet the necessary business requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES:· Ensure the tests cover all the required bases in order to clear software products for release.· Create performance code to implement the required tests (unit, pact, integration) and make any necessary changes to mitigate risks.· Actively communicate results to team members and external stakeholders.· Mentor scrum team members across various teams to ensure quick and efficient deliveries. REQUIREMENTS:· Bachelor’s degree· 3-5 years of experience in software development, along with the ability to write efficient code (C#/.Net)· Experience with automation frameworks, such as Selenium· Prior experience with platforms such as PowerShell, VSTS, C#/.Net, API’s, and REST—SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud solutions—Azure, IT infrastructure exposure· Ability to develop solutions in regards to budgeting, technical complexity, timing· Experience creating/executing test plans and making risk assessments to deliver SaaS software products
