A reputable pawn shop is seeking a highly motivated and experienced pawnbroker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for valuing and purchasing valuable items.

Responsibilities:

Assess the value of items brought in by customers for pawn or sale

Provide loan options and negotiate loan terms with customers

Purchase items from customers for resale in the shop

Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

Keep accurate records of all transactions

Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers

Requirements:

Clean criminal record.

Proven experience as a pawnbroker or in a similar role

Knowledge of jewelry, electronics, firearms, and other valuable items

Strong negotiation and customer service skills

Ability to handle cash and make accurate mathematical calculations

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Basic computer skills and familiarity with point of sale systems
