PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: Engage in development, management, implementation, and maintenance of PC and Mac desktopenvironment, software distribution infrastructure, and patching methodology. Understand applicationdependences and change impact. Participate as an active member of the change and problem management team responsible forincreased call avoidance, improved asset use, and decreased end-user downtime. Evaluate operating systems and simplify the deployment of common applications and requests forservice by utilizing current toolsets. Identify opportunities to continually develop tools that improve userexperience and cost-effectiveness. Identify opportunities and develop overall design and implementation of desktop environmentand software distribution infrastructure. Review systems in a proactive manner in order to contribute to the further improvement of the ITsupport processes. Establish standard operating procedures for troubleshooting, system programs and componentsguidelines, and monitor checklist to ensure stability of client infrastructure. Maintain knowledgedatabase of all available products, comparing features and implementation possibilities. Responsible for Imaging services and endpoint standards Provide end point management for all end-points in the enterprise as well as the assessment andoptimization of end-user platforms through review of user needs. Consult with key business partners and all levels across IT organization to ensure that deliveredservices and end-user productivity goals are understood and exceeded. Serve as the highest escalation point for Microsoft and Apple end user issues. Develop automation scripting to automate repeated tasks in client environments. Improve asset usedand decrease end-user downtime.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer managing end user desktop environments.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field is required.Skills: Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of enterprise applications, tools, and operating systemsincluding: Windows, Mac OS, MS Office, MDM tools, ServiceNow, AD and GPOs, O365, conferencingsystems, file sync, and share tools. Demonstrate extensive functional knowledge of end point management tools (SCCM, JAMF, andIntune), active directory, GPO’s, login scripts, and security incident management and resolution. Understand internal, external, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits. Experience leading global and regional resources Experience managing direct reports and global platforms Experience with UEM platforms a plus Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization, Strong customer skills, Detail and resultsorientation. Ability to articulate complex ideas, comprehend written and verbal communications, and possessexcellent presentation skills.
