Senior / VP Java Spring Boot Engineer

Summary: Our client, one of world's largest financial institutions is adding 2 new right to hire roles. This position is titled as a Vice President. As a candidate you must have 8 years of hands on Java J2EE, complex SQL, API, CI/CD, Automation skills with experience with Jenkins & Jewels pipelines in an Agile Space with 4 years of big data &/or data modeling experience. This team supports the client's largest consumer facing applications.REQUIREMENTS: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience 10+ years total of IT experience 8+ years' hands-on experience with Java development 4+ years of experience applying data science concepts to analyze large volume of data Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems Key core skills Java, Spring Boot, Cloud, Cassandra and REST API Familiar with streaming concepts and design patterns with software like Oracle, Flink, Kafka/MQ (middleware/database messaging), HDFS, Arango, Couchbase, Cloud Foundry and AWS Cloud or similar Expert at developing Functional and Technical Specifications, Process Flows, Data Analysis, Mapping Documents, Automated testing frameworks, CI/CD / DevOps processes, Agile concepts and other similar project deliverables Experience creating SQL queries to support data analysis Expertise in application, data, data modeling and infrastructure architecture disciplines Overall expectations: Technical Architecture; NoSQL DB Modeling, System Design; Cassandra DB; Strong Code Review; Individual Contribution - coach & mentor; CI/CD & DevOps practices Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, drive direction and coach/mentor Developers Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practicesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
