Piper Companies is currently seeking a Senior Rendering/Graphics Programmer for an opportunity in Durham (remote initially), North Carolina (NC). The Senior Rendering/Graphics Programmer will design, write, and optimize rendering features working with artists to help create visually compelling experiences. Responsibilities of the Senior Rendering/Graphics Programmer:
- Work closely with various programming teams regarding development issues and issues impacting performance for the Engine team
- Partner with the rendering and game teams to drive and improve platform specific features, run-time performance, tool-chain performance, and ease of use
- Drive performances of Unreal 4 Engine
- Analyze and fix common problems in a game engine such as load times, memory usage, and performance issues
- Assist with content creating for game development and assisting with quality control
- 5+ years of professional programming experience
- Strong 3d Math skills
- Excellent knowledge of modern rendering algorithms & techniques
- Demonstrated experience with recent graphics APIs (d3d12/11/libGNM etc)
- Strong C and software design skills
- Experience working with UE4
- Previous experience on generation console titles
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000
