Job Description:Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a candidate to provide Linux System Administration supporting a development team's GOTS application in a production environment for U.S. Government Customer. The selected candidate will work as the primary System Administrator for the Network Operations Common Operating Picture application along with their associated directories, databases and Virtual Machines. System Administrator support includes patching, upgrades, security scanning, security configuration lock downs, maintaining/creating system documentation, Cybersecurity reporting, and activities required to support accreditation requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly and function independent of regular supervision.Specific job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Routine Linux system administration (including SELinux).
- Maintain system configurations, user access, and system security to protect user privacy and data integrity.
- Manage IA updates as required.
- Create scripts to automate security and monitoring capabilities.
- Leverage Ansible to provide automation of routine tasks.
- Review results from ACAS and VRAM and remediate findings.
- Generate and maintain of artifacts for eMASS.
- Perform and document all applicable STIGs.
- Develop documentation for sysadmin duties, configuration changes, and backups.
- Update system documentation.
- Maintain readiness to support Cyber Security Inspections.

- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
- System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- Linux +
- LPIC-2 Advanced Level Linux Professional
- LPIC-3 Senior Level Linux Professional
- RHCE Red Hat Certified Engineer
- RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- RHCDS Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist
- 3+ years of experience with Linux systems
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL certification
- Experience with the IAVM process
- 75,000-85,000 based on experience
