Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Los Angeles, California. The selected individual will be tasked with managing various firm activities, overseeing accounting and financial management, and handling human resources. As an Office Manager, you will also collaborate on technology matters, manage administrative issues, and assist in contract management.Responsibilities: Oversee firm management in collaboration with managing partners. Handle payroll and manage accounts receivable collections. Assist in maintaining the firm’s books and records. Coordinate and administer HR issues such as tracking vacation and sick leave, onboarding new staff, conducting exit interviews, and ensuring compliance with HR laws. Collaborate with IT director to maintain the firm’s time and billing systems, network, software, internet, email, and telephones. Manage office equipment, space planning, purchasing, and develop policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining, updating, and negotiating contracts for insurance, benefits, bank terms, and office lease/landlord issues. Work closely with the managing partner to formulate and implement the firm's strategy and goals. Network with other firms, attend practice management conferences, and engage in detail oriented reading. Use various accounting software systems, CRM, Dentrix Dental Software, and other tools for accounting functions, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR). Requirements Minimum of three years experience in a similar role as an Office Manager Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Concur Proficiency in CRM systems Experience with Dentrix Dental Software Knowledge in About Time software Ability to handle accounting functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to handle and respond to inbound calls efficiently.
