Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or comparable field AND a minimum of five (5) years field experience in fiscal record preparation and maintenance, including two years of advanced-level accounting and record keeping; supervisory or training experience highly desired. At this stage, unofficial transcripts are acceptable. If offered the position, official transcripts will be required for placement.

Position Summary:

Under general direction of the Director of Fiscal Services, the Accounting Supervisor directs the work of various accounting personnel of the Business Office; performs specialized and technical services requiring application and interpretation of accounting theory and practice, payroll processing and tax reporting regulations, data, facts, procedures, legislation and policies; provides highly responsible technical and administrative assistance to school district staff concerning fiscal operations; and does related work as assigned.
