Windows System Administrator

Job Description:Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a candidate to provide Windows System Administration support in a Production Environment supporting a US Government Customer. The selected candidate will be integrated with a team responsible for administration of a Windows server environment in support of real-world missions. Approximately 90% of the candidate's time will be spent working on windows-based systems, with the remainder being spent on other operating systems.Candidate with knowledge of Linux, Cold Fusion, Oracle, and Solarwinds is desired but not required.Specific job duties include:

• Maintenance of server and desktop infrastructure in production, test, and development environments
• Addressing cybersecurity concerns inclusive of DISA, STIG, and IAVMs
• Troubleshooting Microsoft applications
• Maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory

• Security+ CE
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
• Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
• System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

• 3+ Years of Experience
• Willingness to perform occasional shift work (2-3 times per year) on board a ship in support of exercises

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
• Experience with the IAVM process
• Familiarity with network device administration (routers/switches)
