Technical Writer

Technical Writer position for 4 to 6 months starting from first week of September. This person will be in the Advanced Technology group. This person will be responsible for writing technical standards for IT books. There will be a table of contents in which we will provide and this person will be responsible of a certain section of the table of contents.You will go through docs, working with different groups and come up with the technical communication standards. Here are the requirements we are looking for:

• Must have prior knowledge of authoring technical documentation using modern tools such as Confluence (Wiki)
• Experience with Technical documentation for cloud projects. Familiarity with the subject matter on application architecture is preferred
• Must have excellent graphics skills to create technical diagrams using Visio. Expert level knowledge of color theory, contrast, typography is required.
• Prior experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have more exposure to latest technical writing tools for any book publishing
• 5+ years of professional writing experience with command of grammar, sentence structure, document layout and structure is needed.
