Business Development Lead Location: King George, VAClearance: DOD ClearanceSeeking a Business Development lead. Successful candidate must possess a Department of Defense clearance and significant experience leading Business Development efforts.

Description:Successful candidates will identify both new and follow-on business opportunities for SDC. Experience with contractual vehicles such as Seaport NexGen, OASIS and GSA desired. Experience working with government agencies such as: Department of Defense (DoD), Homeland Security (DHS), State Department, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) desired.

Responsibilities:
  • Track all existing Client work, re-compete captures, and strategize for new/future growth
  • Communicate with industry and government leadership to identify growth opportunities and changes in business practices, direction and emphasis
  • Lead proposal efforts for Client
  • Establish Pipe-Line of upcoming opportunities.
  • Conduct early preparations and establish team
  • Prepare technical and cost documentation
  • Deliver finished proposal packages
  • Develop advantageous teaming relationships with industry partners to increase win probabilities
  • Directly manage Client’s Business Development Staff
