job summary:

Release Manager needed for Contract Opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.Skills required:
  • Strong organization and follow through to manage a 40+ step ingestion process for dozens of pieces of content each week.
  • Experience in a release management role
  • Trouble shooting issue root causes which is complicated further in an environment with multiple builds on multiple platforms using various SDK versions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Relentless drive to deliver high quality results on time
  • Initiative to solve problems and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to track, manage and prioritize multiple workstreams in progress at any given time
  • Bonus experience:
  • Experience in a customer support / service role
  • Experience working with digital downloadable content
  • Experience working on a 2-sided digital marketplace
  • Gaming industry experience

  • Ingest content from partners to sell in our in-game marketplace
  • Ensure consistency in submissions to keep marketplace functional and easy to navigate
  • Partner Engagement will cover the following:
  • Keep partners informed as their content is going through various ingestion steps
  • Make partners aware of any package alterations so they can make sure to integrate those into any future updates
  • Confirm pricing and availability in the store
  • Make sure they know how to access revenue reporting
  • Answer questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordination with test, loc and rest of ingestion team to ensure content moves through the process quickly and issues are documented for either resolution or sharing with other partners.
  • Escalate issues encountered with ingestion tools, providing clear steps and any other information required for partner tool developer to reproduce
  • Recognize themes in issues reported by partners with using SDK or other tools in content workflow; escalate and drive to resolution as needed
qualifications:
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors
