Plus outstanding bonus and benefit package!-Position based in Philadelphia near the airport.What You Will Be DoingIn this highly technical key role, the Technical Manager leads the overall R&D efforts of assigned technical resources towards the development and deployment of electronics manufacturing process technology. -Responsible for maintaining the highest level of technology innovation and discovery related to the evolving electronics research agenda supporting DoD systems. -Develop technical strategies, standards, roadmaps, and technical reports for the company to remain state of the market in electronics manufacturing technologies. -Provide technical guidance, leadership, and direction related to ongoing and future projects including technical staff planning, organizing, and controlling assigned resources to accomplish objectives. -Maintain and develop strong customer relationships within DoD program offices related to the company's activities. -Develop and manage assigned R&D projects for technical progress and cost accumulation consistent with the project plan milestones and budget targets. Utilize earned value measurement metrics to measure the effectiveness of cost and schedule progress against the plan. -Serve as a technical liaison between government sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that expectations and requirements are satisfied in a timely and well-focused manner with a clearly defined return on investment.-Prepare and present technical project information to customers, stakeholders, and senior management. -Interact closely with the Program Director on technical approaches and programmatic requirements and issues.(No IT candidates please.)What You Need for this PositionA suitable candidate will have a very strong background in:- Electronics technology, materials and experience in defense related government contracting. - A masters degree is required for this position. M.S. in an engineering discipline (electrical, materials, or systems) that supports technical objectives plus 10 years of related experience.-Record of proven excellence in a technical discipline with an ability to solve complex engineering challenges in electronics technology and associated manufacturing improvements. -Excellent planning, communication, and presentation skills and a well-organized approach to technical solutions and execution are essential. -Strong networking capability to develop and enhance government customer relationships.
