This person should be able proficient in the Java programming language and an ideal candidate would be someone passionate about technology and things like security, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance. We need someone who is driven and with a high degree of autonomy and tolerance to changes in requirements. Someone who is able and willing to work with a network of stakeholder to get things done.REQUIREMENTS: Experience as a Programmer with the Java language and in-depth knowledge of the Java Platform, including Java 8 and higher Experience programming using Test Driven Development Experience programming Internet distributed applications; Understanding of TCP/IP Experience working with Open Source software APIs and development tools, including an IDE like IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse or Netbeans Experience working with Agile methodologies: XP or SCRUM or Kanban Experience working with one or more Relational databases: Oracle / SQL Server / DB2 / MySQL Experience reading and writing technical documentation including UML diagrams Likes collaborative work and succeeding as a part of a team Experience developing stateless REST services over HTTP Experience working with Non-SQL databases: Cassandra, DynamoDB Mongo, Redis or CouchDB Experience with other standards like XML, HTML, JavaScript Experience with automated testing and build automation Experience with other programming languages like Scala, Node.JS, Python DevOps: You own the stack from development to post-production; You must be able to deploy your code within the infrastructure for development and production; You take accountability for all code you produce from development to testing, deploying, production, and post-productionAWS Requirements: Team functions within serverless infrastructure about 5% of the time Hands-on experience with EC2, Dynamo, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Elastic Load Balance, and Elastic Search experienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
