Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description We are in search of a bilingual Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the Wine industry based in Saint Helena, California. This role focuses on various HR functions including recruitment, training, and organizational development. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, providing the chance to work in a hybrid model with flexibility in hours.Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital Manage the recruitment and selection process Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance Maintain pay plan and benefits program Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management Implement and manage new timekeeping softwareSkills: Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish Strong communication and compliance skills Experience in Employee Relations and Hiring Processes Proficiency in Dayforce, and SAP softwaresRequirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably within the wine industry. Familiarity with Dayforce and SAP systems. Proven track record in managing benefit functions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrable experience in ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. Ability to handle employee relations and resolve conflicts. Experience in managing hiring processes from job posting to onboarding. Proficiency in Spanish language is required. Knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
