Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PT as needed Receptionist in Aurora, Colorado. The chosen candidate will be joining our team, primarily engaging in the field of switchboard operations. This role is crucial in handling and directing phone calls, maintaining a smooth workflow and ensuring an efficient communication system within our workspace.Responsibilities: Operate a multi-line switchboard, ensuring all inbound telephone calls are answered and directed appropriately. Implement switchboard operations effectively, including answering multi-line phone system and directing phone calls as needed. Provide phone coverage, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette to maintain a professional image. Use computerized switchboard systems to facilitate communication and improve efficiency. Handle phone screens, ensuring that calls are directed to the right person or department. Maintain multiple phone lines, making sure that all calls are attended and no calls are missed. Exercise skills in switchboard - phones 1 - 10 lines, ensuring a smooth operation of the communication system. Provide customer service in a call center setting, resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of all phone operations, ensuring the information is up-to-date for reference. Park calls for the sales department, and have them taken by the appropriate sales personnel when available. This role requires a keen understanding of phone operations and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate proficiency in using a computerized switchboard and managing multiple phone lines.Requirements Proficiency in operating multi-line switchboards and phone systems Experience with answering and directing inbound telephone calls Demonstrated ability to handle multiple phone lines simultaneously Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Familiarity with computerized switchboard operations Experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred Ability to screen phone calls and relay messages accurately Knowledge of telephone answering systems and switchboard operations Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
