Compensation & Benefits Analyst
Description We are in search of a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join our team in the education sector, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role is vital in analyzing and maintaining the compensation plans and benefits for the organization, ensuring that they remain competitive and aligned with industry standards. This position provides a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct detailed analysis of internal and external compensation data to establish appropriate salary ranges for various positions within the company Review and revise current compensation plans based on market research, ensuring they remain competitive and effective Collaborate with the director of HR in developing and revising job descriptions to accurately reflect roles and responsibilities Perform research on industry compensation trends and benchmarks to ensure the organization's compensation packages are competitive Assist in planning for future compensation strategies based on market trends and company objectives Utilize HRIS and other human resources software for compensation and benefits administration Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations Coordinate benefits and leave of absence administration Monitor and manage annual compensation processes within the organization Support the HR team in resolving any compensation and benefits related issues. Requirements Proficient in Compensation & Benefits, including Base Compensation, Commissions, and Annual Compensation Experience in Compensation Administration and Compensation Analysis Knowledge of Compensation Law and Compensation Surveys Familiarity with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems, Human Resources (HR) Administration, and Human Resources Management System Proficiency in using Human resources software Skills in Benefits Coordination and managing Leave of Absence Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Prior experience in an educational setting is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously High level of discretion and confidentiality Ability to interpret and analyze data Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards applicable to the area of responsibility.
