Risk Adjustment Medical Coder - Remote
Description A Healthcare Organization is in the immediate need of a remote Risk Adjustment Medical Coder. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Risk Adjustment Coding. This role requires proficient knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and expertise in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding classifications.Responsibilities Include:
Evaluate medical records and assign appropriate clinical diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with coding guidelines.
Perform chart reviews for accuracy and coding compliance as per CMS Risk Adjustment guidelines.
Interact with providers to facilitate documentation capture for accurate diagnostic coding.
Participate in daily coding meetings for continued education and updates.
Maintaining strict patient and physician confidentiality, and adhering to all HIPAA Regulations.

Requirements
