Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our manufacturing team based in Zeeland, Michigan. This role involves managing and processing customer credit applications, maintaining our accounts receivable ledger, and dealing with complex billing issues. The successful candidate will also be tasked with monitoring and managing past-due accounts and developing strong relationships with both internal and external customers.Responsibilities: Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit Process cash receipts and update the accounts receivable ledger Monitor, manage and collect past-due accounts Review and approve sales orders for customers with credit issues Handle complex billing issues and customer disputes, resolving them efficiently and effectively Initiate and monitor customer rebates and co-op programs Recommend changes in credit policy and procedures, as needed Maintain a clean AR aging and minimize delinquency Prepare monthly reports on credit and collection activities, bad debts, and account receivables for management review Develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers, delivering excellent customer service regarding collection issues and inquiries Utilize accounting software systems, ERP solutions, and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions Process check payments and handle cash activity related to accounts receivable and billing functions. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with ERP Solutions is necessary Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is essential Familiarity with IBM AS/400 is preferable Proficient in Microsoft Excel Understanding of Accounting Functions is required Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory Familiarity with Billing Functions is necessary Experience in handling Cash Activity is required Knowledge in Check Processing is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
