Description We are in search of a Senior Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. You will also be tasked with reviewing cash flow, ensuring consistency in reporting, and providing support to the accounting team.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the preparation and review of financial statements and consolidated reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies. Conduct regular reviews of cash flow to monitor and manage the company’s financial liquidity. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations. Review and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness, providing insights and recommendations to management. Provide training and support to accounting staff on financial preparation, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation and review of tax filings. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant, preferably within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry. Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries is mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Proven experience in Month End Close procedures. Familiarity with Real Page/ other relevant property management accounting software platforms. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
