Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester with our client in the financial industry in their Plano, TX location. This is a 6 month + contract to hire position. Requirements:
  • This role is suited to a QA professional (5-8+ years of experience) with an established and successful history of automation testing, able to work with multiple frameworks and tools
  • The role requires the ability to determine the best fit from automation framework perspective for different applications across the organization
  • Prior experience of working in an agile environment is a requirement
  • Experience designing, writing and executing automation scripts
  • Experience in preparing test environments that are ready for automation
  • Previous experience working with different automation frameworks
  • Experience analyzing requirements and providing an analysis for automation efforts
  • Relevant knowledge of other QA functions and how they are correlated (e.g Regression, performance testing)
  • Previous experience working closely with teams focused on developing custom software
  • Working within an Agile environment
  • Experience in defect reporting, tracking bug life cycle processes with JIRA
  • Previous experience testing web-based applications
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of SQL
  • An ability to learn about automation frameworks and tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with software version control (Bitbucket, github)
  • Experience with TDD, shift left methodologies
  • Experience with tools like TOSCA, Selenium, UFT, Cucumber, Lettuce, SOATest, qTest & cypress
  • Experience of Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins, TeamCity, MSBuild, Docker
