Controller
Description We are on the hunt for a Controller to join our team, based in Monterey Park, California. As a Controller, you will be responsible for leading the financial operations within the manufacturing industry. This role will include managing a range of tasks, such as overseeing financial operations, utilizing accounting software systems, and presenting financial information to stakeholders. Responsibilities: Overseeing and managing the financial operations within the manufacturing division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensuring financial statements and reports are accurate and timely, in compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. Utilizing accounting software systems, particularly NetSuite, to manage financial processes. Implementing and optimizing software functionalities to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency. Leading the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to support manufacturing operations. Preparing and presenting financial reports and performance metrics to stakeholders and executive leadership. Communicating complex financial information clearly and persuasively to a diverse audience. Collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with company goals. Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls. Overseeing audits and implementing corrective actions as needed to address any financial discrepancies or issues. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar financial management position Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, and ADP - Financial Services Solid understanding of CRM and Crystal Reports Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficient in auditing procedures and practices Familiarity with budget processes and financial forecasting Ability to manage all financial transactions within the company Experience in managing financial data and creating financial reports Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required Professional certification (e.g. CMA, CPA) is a plus Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
