Systems Administrator

Description Duties and Responsibilities for the Systems Admin.1.Meet with members of the I.T. team to discuss project goals and general requirements.2. Assist with management and support of:-End-users utilizing Windows 7 and 10, and desktop applications including Office 2013/2016/2019, Remote Desktop, 3D/CAD installation/configuration, and other tools.-The corporate ERP system Epicor Prophet 21. When unsure of issue or solution, open support tickets with Epicor and follow-through on solution.-Sonicwall Firewalls, Dell & Meraki Routers, switches and Wireless Access Points at multiple locations.-VMware Host Servers and virtual servers running Windows Server 2016, Exchange 2016, SQLServer 2016 and SharePoint 2013.-Domain management, user accounts, authentication and authorization using Active Directory, Organizational Units and Global Policies.-Warehouse users on the use of Label Printing software/printers, handheld scanners running Windows CE and other wireless tools (iWarehouse/etc).3.Perform basic EDI support (we could train you):-Setup EDI mapping for new trading partners, in conjunction with Epicor support.-Troubleshoot EDI communication issues and correct records when possible.4.Code basic SQL Reports using:-SQL Server Management Studio-Microsoft SSRS-Crystal Reports5.Perform other computer tasks and desktop support, as assigned by I.T. Director. 6.Report back status to the I.T. team on a daily basis.For consideration please email Requirements Skills and Qualifications:1.The ideal candidate will be an I.T. generalist who has wide knowledge of various Windows Server/Desktop and Network systems.2.Understand how to setup, configure and administer Windows 7 and 10 computers and Windows Server 2016.3.Ability to operate a wide variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office.4.Be a self-starter, have high standards, good time management skills, organized, with the ability to work independently or on a team, and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.5.You must be able to think outside the box and troubleshoot end-user desktop, network and server and ERP issues. When unsure what the issue is, summarize what you know and work with I.T. consultants and support staff to resolve.Strong Pluses:-Experience with warehouse management/distribution and ERP systems, especially Epicor Prophet 21.-EDI / Electronic Data Interchange mapping functions and troubleshooting steps.-Ability to read existing SQL and edit to create custom reports from ERP database.-Ability to publish/edit reports using Microsoft SSRS (SQL Server Reporting System) and Crystal Reports.-Experience with HighJump Wireless Warehouse Management System.For consideration please email Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
