HVAC Installer/ HVAC Technician

Are you an experienced residential HVAC technician or Installer with a breath of knowledge in troubleshooting or installing all types of heating and cooling systems? JDL HVAC Services is a residential HVAC company serving greater Howard, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, and Prince George's counties areas! Currently, we are looking for experienced service technicians, experienced installers, and service tech apprentices, and install helpers throughout our coverage area.

Applicants should possess the following skills and abilities:

-Service/Install Tech applicants should have 7+ years experience in residential HVAC service or installation

-Possess an understanding of the refrigeration cycle and how to properly diagnose or install heat pump, AC, gas

furnace, and ductless systems. Oil, boiler, and communicating system experience preferred.

-Possess strong customer service skills

-Possess CFC/EPA certification & Apprentice license for non-helper positions

-Journeyman's license preferred but not required for lead service techs and lead installers

-Willingness to work some overtime, especially during peak seasons

What you should expect to encounter as a service technician at JDL:

-All positions except helpers are guaranteed company-provided transportation. Helpers provided transportation depending on location and skill level.

-A fully stocked van, service routes or installs as close to your home as possible, depending on seasonal demand and volume.

-Diagnose, service, and/or install heat pumps, A/Cs, gas, and potentially oil furnaces and boilers

-Replace compressors, motors, boards, valves, metering devices, etc. (service technicians)
