Responsibilities:

1. Create and manage property operation budgets

2. Maintenance and repair for all properties- when necessary utilizing a competitive bid process working with contractors

3. Grounds Upkeep and Landscaping

4. Orientation of new tenants- with Housing Supports staff

5. Scheduling and preparation for all inspections- city rental, HUD HQS, MSHDA, FHLBI and any other funder requirement

6. Apartment/room turn over management- Move in, Move out

7. On-call availability for all sites (emergencies- power failure, mechanical failure etc.)

8. Creating and implementing green building and energy efficiency strategies – working with /training tenants

9. Coordinate with external funding agencies, organizations and other federal, state, and local agencies and bodies.

10. Oversee the management of the agency’s properties, equipment, and other facilities, and recommend to the CEO needed additions, renovations, alterations, replacement and repairs.

11. Review operational performance quarterly through analysis of property and financial information and special reports.

12. Communicate with the MAP Housing Supportive Services providers to ensure enhanced management of all programs.

13. Oversee and coordinate the preparation of reports to the funding sources.

14. Assure the protection of assets of the organization through internal controls, internal auditing and program evaluation, external auditing, and risk management.

15. Other duties as assigned

Must have an insured vehicle and valid driver’s license; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, sit and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Possession of own tools is helpful.
