Accountant Bookkeeper - Ecommerce

DecksDirect.com is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic and fun-loving team and be a part of our rapidly expanding business in Plymouth, MN. This associate would need to be able to work in a fast-paced office setting. This position is accountable for all daily accounting tasks, multi-state sales tax, bi-weekly payroll, and P&L accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain vendor records, relationships, and payments

Process and maintain bi-weekly payroll

Report and remit monthly sales tax returns and remittances

Track and review company expenses

Key responsibilities within the month-end processes

Research, troubleshoot, document, and correct data errors

And accounting stuff: Balance sheets, Income statements, Journal Entries, Inventory Controls

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

Inventory and retail accounting experience

Exercise considerable independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality

Super experience in Microsoft Excel (like beyond colors and use of Sum function)

NetSuite experience a plus

Associates Degree or 3+ successful years in a similar role

Full-time position: 40 – 50 hours per week

Internal position (not remote or telecommute)
