Drywall Finisher

Description

Drywall finishers need to be skilled tradesmen as well as effective team players. Resto Clean tradesmen should conduct themselves professionally at all times with integrity and be committed to completing the job on time and within budget. As a drywall finisher, you are responsible for all aspects of drywall application. Experience with all aspects of hanging drywall is required. You may be required to work with repair work or install new drywall from start to finish.

Duty

We are looking to hire skilled craftsmen who can finish drywall for paint preparation. The finisher will work on new walls and ceilings, but will often be requested to repair existing walls as well. Drywaller must be proficient at taping, beading, applying all coats and sanding. You might need to install horizontal and vertical studs for interior walls for the attachment of gypsum panel products. As a restoration/construction drywaller, it is essential you can accurately match texture to an existing wall. All skilled tradesmen will be required to meet or exceed the industry standard guidelines for labor and material allocations. Requirements

Must be clean and presentable

Must work efficiently as to not slow any other aspects of the job.

Be able to fit and fasten gypsum panels into position.

Be able to measure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall and trim.

Be able to trim rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints.

May require the use of ladders or scaffolding.

Must be knowledgeable in drywall applications and products.

Must be knowledgeable about all trade tools

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
