INTERN EXPERIENCE AT UNITED WAY WORLDWIDE

Interns at United Way Worldwide gain valuable learning and working experience at a leading nonprofit organization. Our goal is to make every intern who works with us feel included, valuable, and productive. In addition to the hands-on experience you’ll receive working at the largest nonprofit in the world, you will be provided with weekly professional development workshops.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The internship opportunities are open to current students of a college program, or within 2 years of graduating. Applicants must be authorized to work within the United States and have all required documentation proving their authorization at the time of their application.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Response Team is tasked with delivering a world-class experience for new Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud customers. We focus on the implementation, planning and execution of Philanthropy Cloud. We seek an entrepreneurial person with interest in developing new pathways for end-users to experience this new, quickly evolving technology.

Salesforce.org Philanthropy Cloud (SPC) is the first-ever global platform that connects organizations, employees and customers with the causes they care about the most. A digital solution where corporate and personal social responsibility intersect, SPC not only makes giving accessible, easier and more effective—it will change the face of philanthropy as we know it.

PRIMARY PROJECTS

  • Assist in the research and management of products that are in development for our corporate customers

  • Research & analyze trends for specific audiences to increase engagement on Philanthropy Cloud
  • Build and curate content for users of Philanthropy Cloud
  • Update knowledge articles for our internal community hub
  • Stay up to date on content trends to provide best practice recommendations that increase participation
  • Assist with other projects as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Educational or real work experience in digital marketing and/or product development

  • Possess stellar written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research, forecasting and analysis skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Comfortable working daily with a computer to complete work
  • Strong teamwork skills to see a project to completion

LOCATION

This internship takes place 100% remote for the Spring 2021 semester.
