A wonderfully unique and upscale salon management company has immediate opening for a licensed cosmetologist in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for exceptional candidates that can stay with us long-term, are highly invested in their talents and that have a very strong customer service mentality.

Predictable and stable compensation and incredible career advancement possibilities. Position is part time, great work-life balance with no weekends or late evenings required. Schedule is 4 to 5 days per week 10 am - 4 pm. Must do all hair services. This position requires mental and physical stamina and complex multi-tasking and relationship building abilities. It requires a large amount of self-management and reporting. This is a highly paid position for the industry ($700 to $900/week ). The location is a VERY VERY BUSY luxury location. This is not a traditional beauty shop shift work type position. It requires an organized communicator, business minded professional with the right skills and personality. Desire to hold part-time position for 2+ years minimum.

Must use cell phone, basic computers and current communications technology - text, email, fax.

Specific Requirements

Experience with roller sets, perms, relaxers, color formulations, teasing, both traditional bouffant and modern natural finishing as well as precision hair cutting. Must be willing and able to perform both traditional and modern hairstyles and perform successful consultations.

Must be able to effectively communicate and give direction to others, handle client relations and events, multi-task and preplan.

Must be proficient in written, email and fax communications with daily text capability and availability to communicate with managers during business and occasional non-business hours. Must be very comfortable texting and emailing from personal cell phone.

Must be computer proficient, highly organized and able to prioritize workflow.

Participation in company functions and certification training.
