Relocation to Odense, Denmark required

The General Manager will direct, administer, and coordinate the activities of the Meneta business in accordance with corporate goals and objectives. This role will be responsible for day-to-day management as well as the overall business operations according to Executive Leadership guidelines to exceed customer needs. The General Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing a business development strategy that results in sales growth and profitability. The role will sit in our office in Odense, Denmark.

• Achieve annual objectives regarding profit, margins, business mix, and market share.
• Develop a comprehensive business plan by identifying targeted sales strategy, creating balance sheet assumptions, and allocating resources for capital purchase and other expenses with documented justification.
• Establish organizational objectives, develop strategies, and initiate business critical activities to meet goals.
• Monitor planned vs. actual organizational performance and implement remedies to close gaps.
• Drive technical discussions, presentations, and negotiations as well as provide ongoing program/project oversight.
• Ensure performance reporting mechanisms are in place to support timely data input/analysis as well as promote appropriate communications to management.
• Responsible for overseeing all hiring and termination decisions while creating a positive work environment to retain an engaged workforce.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required, Master’s degree preferred

· 10+ years of management level experience in organizational planning and automotive manufacturing operations

· Automotive brake system experience is a plus

· Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)

· International business experience strongly preferred

· Strong analytical ability

· Excellent communication and leadership skills
