Kiraly Tool and Die, Inc. has immediate openings for experienced tool and die makers for a full time, day shift position. We have very specific requirements for this position so please read the entire job description below before applying. We offer the area's most competitive wages, benefits and a modern machining environment. Wages for this position typically range from $15.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending upon your specific experience. There is no cap on wages.

Job Skill Set: Applicant would be responsible for interpreting drawings, performing set-ups, programming and machining a variety of materials using modern cutting tools and late model CNC machinery. Applicant must be capable of holding tolerances and meeting surface finish requirements per drawing specifications. Applicant must be knowledgeable of speeds and feed rates for machining and grinding a variety of tool steels and other materials. Strong communication and math skills are a necessity. Applicant must have complete set of machinist tools, steel toe work shoes, safety glasses and possess an impeccable work ethic. Programming training that is specific to our conversational CNC machinery will be provided. We understand that your experience may be with a different machine controller and that a reasonable ramping-up period is to be expected. Our general machine work is typically small scale, custom parts for a variety of industries. We design and manufacture stamping dies and all types of custom jigs and fixtures. Most of what we machine can be held in your hands or moved with our die carts or small jib cranes.

Stamping Dies: Applicant will be working to fully detailed drawings. Most stamping dies are fairly basic and typically require less than 100 tons to stamp. Most stamping dies are piercing, notching or shearing features in light gauge aluminum extrusion and sheet steel. Forming dies, cam-actuated dies and progressive dies are also designed and manufactured in-house. Attention to detail, tolerances and surface finishes is critical. Attention to ease of press operation and safety measures is just as important. Applicant will be involved thru the entire build process from sawing raw materials to final assembly and stamping samples for approval in our try-out press. All manufacturing is time-sensitive, so we monitor our performance on each project and expect a reasonable work pace.

Requirements: A minimum of (5) years comparable experience is required. A journeyman's certificate is not required as long as you possess the equivalent in experience. WorkKeys certification is preferred and NIMS credentials are a plus. We are a drug-free facility. WorkKeys testing and drug testing (both provided locally) will be mandatory prior to hiring. There is a 30-day probationary period.

Important Notes: Whenever possible, you will be multi-taskingnot watching a single machine operate. We do not permit cell phone use unless for special circumstances. There is no wage tier system or "cap" on wage currently. There is opportunity for growth into other positions when available. You control your own destiny regarding wage, if the company as a whole is profitable.

Benefits:

Health insurance is Medical Mutual. Employee contribution is 25% of the monthly premium, deducted in (2) equal payments before taxes. Begins after 30 day probationary period. Dental and vision benefit are available through Humana.

(1) week paid vacation after (1) year of full-time employment, (2) weeks after (5) years, and (3) weeks after (10) years.

401k plan with 100% company match up to 3% of employee contribution.

We offer overtime when it is available. Maximum overtime is (55) hours per week, consisting of (10) hours on Monday thru Friday and (5) hours on Saturday.
