Full-time Shelter Associate

As a shelter associate, you’ll have the opportunity to provide compassionate animal care and bring (and keep) cats and people together. In this role, you’ll help maintain cleanliness of animal housing and other areas, monitor cats and kittens for health and behavior, assist with record-keeping, support the public with adoptions and other services, answer phones and email, schedule appointments, train and oversee volunteers, and work the reception & retail desk. It can be busy, smelly, and loud sometimes — but if purpose-driven work that supports people and pets is meaningful to you, this is a truly fulfilling role!

This is an hourly, full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week. Days and shifts will vary depending on need, including the availability to work weekends. Starting pay for this position is $18/hour.
