If interested in the Quality Engineer opportunity in Louisville, KY, please reach out to Quality Engineer Louisville, KY - will start remote but once COVID has cleared up, candidate will sit onsiteHours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (Candidates will need to be flexible, in that if testing is occurring after hours, they may be required to work)Candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies and test cases on projects within the department to ensure that all design, development, functionality, accessibility, and data standards are upheld. Work with the QA manager to strive for strong, consistent, and well-maintained QA program. This is accomplished through actively participating in the collaborative creation of a quality program including, but not limited to, testing standards and processes applied during the project lifecycle. • Create test strategy's to support digital projects • Write and execute comprehensive test cases according to standards • Assist with reporting and managing defects found during testing • Participate in the development of a quality assurance strategy and program • Identify and react to project risks when they appear • Test to ensure user-experience, front-end, and accessibility standards and best-practices are being implemented according to requirements documentation • Establish appropriate relationships with Business and IT counterparts in an effort to ensure final product meets user needs and best-practices have been implemented and tested prior to launch • Act as a consultant to an agency, vendor, IT, or the Humana Digital team to ensure final product meets user needs • Read, understand, and work with member of project teams to understand business and IT requirements so they may be tested properly • Be able to work with cross-functional test teams in Business and IT • Gain understanding of design, front-end, and accessibility standards to apply towards project testing • Ability to learn testing software specific to Humana • Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and testing direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages. • Be a subject matter expert (SME) and share knowledge on our internal systems, processes, and technologies. • Provide post-launch verification of features and changes.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
